The 2025 Chevy Chevelle – Reimagining A Classic American Muscle Car
The Chevy Camaro may be on its way out, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to find a powerful muscle car; just might not be at a Chevrolet dealer and might look more like a 2025 Chevrolet Chevelle. Yes, it looks like the comeback that drag racing enthusiasts have been waiting for just might become a reality. It’s not coming from TransAm Worldwide, a muscle car maker that builds modern versions of the classics.
A New Era of Coolness
The new Chevelle muscle car will boast an aggressive road-hugging exterior look with a low roof and bold, menacing headlights. The long hood is accented with aerodynamic lines and a sloped trunk reminiscent of the original.
It Starts with the 70/22 Base Model
If you have an extra $195,000 to spare, you can start building the Chevelle of your dreams. It’s available in three trims, each paying tribute to the 1970 Chevelle Super Sport. Look under the hood of the 70/SS Base model you’ll find a 7.4-liter 454 Big Block V-8, 450-horsepower engine. The chassis is wrapped in a full carbon fiber body, and just like the original, it features the iconic cowl induction hood and rally stripes.
Inside, the Base combines the retro look of the original with modern touches. The retro seat package and retro gauges will make you feel like you’re sitting in the original.
A Strong Chevelle Heritage
The 396 Heritage Model looks a lot like the Base from the outside. It offers two performance options, giving you the option between a supercharger or a twin-turbo engine. No matter which one you choose, it will supply your drive with more horsepower than you thought possible. The supercharged version will kick out 800 horsepower and the twin-turbo bumps this up to 900 horsepower.
It will feature a plaque specifying the engine you have and a Mantic triple-disc clutch if you choose the manual transmission.
You can make your Chevelle stand out even more with options such as chrome heritage handles or shaved handles and choose between Mach V and traditional rally wheels.
Stepping Up to the Limited Edition
The 454 LS6X Limited Edition is a one-of-a-kind Chevelle. TransAm World will only make 25 of them. The beast of an engine under the hood is a supercharged 2600 Magnuson Supercharged Big-Block that puts out 900 horsepower. But there is also a version that delivers up to 1,500 horsepower and blistering acceleration that brings you from zero to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds.
Just like the Base, it will offer a mix of retro and modern in the cabin with a 70/SS embroidered head rest, Astro A/C vents, and a custom steering wheel.
There are a lot of rumors going around about the reimagined Chevy Chevelle. It’s not something you will see at a Chevrolet dealer, but it available. There’s nothing like customizing your dream car, and that’s exactly what you can do if you want a new Chevelle in your garage.
