In the Chevrolet Blazer EV, you’ll get 106/85/95 MPGe instead. While you’ll make it a little further on each charge with a range of 334 miles, you’ll use more electricity. The cost to drive a Chevrolet Blazer EV is $1.33 per 25 miles vs. the Prologue’s $1.27, according to Top Speed.

The Honda Prologue Is More Reliable

Multiple well-regarded publications have cited the Honda Prologue as the more reliable of the two EV SUVs. Consumer Reports gave the Chevrolet Blazer EV a dismal 39/100 overall score with a 5/100 predicted reliability grade. The Honda Prologue EV fares better at 30/100.

Unsurprisingly, the Honda Prologue holds its value better than the less reliable Chevy Blazer EV. According to Edmunds’ True Cost to Own calculator, the Prologue will lose $30,985 of its value after five years of ownership. The Blazer EV loses its value much faster.

The Honda Prologue Is a Better Value

The 2025 Honda Prologue offers a better value than the Chevy Blazer EV. While it’s true that the entry-level FWD Blazer EV LT costs $45,995, compared to the Honda Prologue EX’s $47,400 price tag, the Prologue EX offers a much better value with its ample features.

The Prologue EX has dual-zone climate control, a wireless smartphone charger, and a heated driver’s seat. Despite a negligible price difference, the Blazer EV LT doesn’t have all of these features. It may be cheaper, but it doesn’t offer better value.

There’s no sense comparing the Prologue’s flagship Elite trim to the Blazer EV’s top-tier SS model. The Elite costs just $57,900, while the SS starts at $62,490.

The Prologue Has a Better Drivetrain

While it’s true that the Chevrolet Blazer EV finally comes available with a FWD configuration, it can’t compare to the Honda Prologue’s. When you head to the Honda dealership, you’ll find an EV SUV that provides a much more enjoyable driving experience.

The single-motor variant of the Prologue produces 212 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque. The dual-motor Prologue with AWD is equally enjoyable to drive, putting out 288 hp and 333 lb-ft of torque. You can make it from 0-60 in just 5.9 seconds.
